MONT ALBERT STATION CAFE

MONT ALBERT STATION CAFE

The newly fitted-out 120 year old Mont Albert Heritage Station Café is a thoughtfully designed hospitality space that blends heritage character with contemporary functionality.
Located within the historic station building, the project transforms the interior into a warm and inviting destination for the local community, balancing modern café operations with the architectural charm of the original building.
A feature of the new fit-out is the collection of bespoke cord pendant luminaires, custom manufactured and supplied by Lightmodo. Designed to complement the café’s aesthetic, the pendants combine single, Double and triple extra long cotton covered suspension cables with exposed decorative opaque spherical lamps.
Suspended throughout the space, they create a striking visual focal point while delivering warm, ambient illumination that enhances the customer experience.
The interior palette of natural timber, textured finishes, soft neutral tones and carefully considered lighting creates a welcoming atmosphere that seamlessly integrates dining, service and communal areas.
The result is a contemporary café environment that respects the building’s heritage while providing a vibrant and functional hospitality venue.

The Mont Albert Station Café showcases how custom lighting can elevate an interior, providing both architectural impact and practical performance while contributing to a memorable and engaging customer environment.
